In Nigeria, the second fuel truck exploded in a week

Over the past two days, a second fuel truck has exploded in Nigeria. It is reported by BBC Africa. The explosion occurred in the business capital of Nigeria, Lagos, on the evening of Thursday, September 24. After the explosion, the fuel truck caught fire, and the fire destroyed several cars and nearby buildings. The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency reports that at least 16 people are in serious condition and have been taken to hospitals in the city, and another 14 received first aid on the spot. The agency said in a statement that a faulty sealing device near the driver's seat led to a fuel leak that ignited when the tires burst. The explosion in Lagos occurred just a day after at least 25 people, including students, died in a similar disaster in the city of Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State.
